This policy explains what information Down Payment Grants collects through dpagrants.org, how we use it, and who we share it with.
Down Payment Grants is operated by REVOL Real Estate, a Maryland-licensed real estate brokerage. We are not a lender and do not make loans or credit decisions. This site is not affiliated with the U.S. government or the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development.
1. Information you give us
When you complete the eligibility quiz or a contact form, we collect:
- Contact details — first name, last name, email address, and phone number.
- Eligibility responses — your answers to the quiz questions, which may include your self-reported credit range, homeownership history, location, and timeline.
We do not ask for and do not want your Social Security number, bank account numbers, or payment card numbers through this website. Please do not send them to us here.
2. Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and timestamps.
- Advertising identifiers — if you arrive from a Google ad, a Google click identifier is stored in a first-party cookie so we can measure which ads produce inquiries.
- Security and delivery — our site is served through Cloudflare, which processes request data to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Temporary storage on your own device
After you submit the quiz, your email address and phone number are held briefly in your own browser's session storage so they can be passed to the confirmation page for conversion measurement. They are removed immediately afterward and are never stored on your device beyond that page view.
3. How we use your information
- To match you against down payment assistance programs and show your results.
- To contact you about your inquiry, including by email, phone, and text message.
- To introduce you to our partner lender so your eligibility can be evaluated.
- To invite you to webinars and send related educational material.
- To measure and improve our advertising, and to operate and secure the site.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Sharing hashed identifiers with Google for advertising measurement may be treated as "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under some state privacy laws. See Your choices to opt out.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our terms, or in connection with a sale or reorganization of the business.
5. Advertising measurement (enhanced conversions)
When a conversion is recorded, your email address and phone number are converted into a one-way cryptographic hash in your browser, before transmission, and that hash is sent to Google Ads. Google uses it only to determine whether the conversion can be matched to an ad interaction. The hash cannot be reversed back into your email address or phone number.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We use first-party cookies and browser storage for site functionality and for advertising measurement through Google Ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site may not work correctly if you do. You can manage Google's use of advertising cookies at adssettings.google.com.
7. Email and text messages
By submitting a form on this site you agree to receive emails and text messages from Down Payment Grants and REVOL Real Estate about down payment assistance programs and our webinars. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving texts.
- Reply HELP to any text message for assistance.
- Use the unsubscribe link in any email to stop receiving emails.
Consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of any purchase or of receiving assistance program information.
8. How long we keep it
We keep inquiry records for as long as needed to respond to you and to meet our record-keeping obligations as a licensed brokerage. You may ask us to delete your information at any time using the contact details below.
9. Your choices and rights
- Opt out of messages — reply STOP to texts or unsubscribe from emails.
- Access, correct, or delete — email or call us and we will act on your request.
- Opt out of advertising measurement — email us and we will exclude your information from advertising measurement sharing.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encryption of the site in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
